Helpful details for a bug report: your browser and device, what you pressed, what you expected, and what you heard instead. Mention the phrase and scale if the melody was involved.

Quick answers

Does the form send my text?

No. It assembles an email draft inside this page and hands it to your own mail app. You read it, edit it, and decide whether to send. Aux Cord has no server to receive anything.

I pressed play and heard nothing

Check, in order: the Mute button is off, the Master fader is above zero, your device volume is up, your headphones are connected to the right output, and any hardware silent switch is off. Browsers only unlock sound after a tap or click, so press Play once more if the first press only showed a warning.

Can I keep a melody?

Not as an audio file. Aux Cord makes sound live. To keep a melody, note the phrase, root, scale, waveform, tempo and echo. The studio also remembers your last settings in this browser when the browser allows it, but never your volume.

Can I use it in a classroom?

It is built for that kind of tinkering: no accounts, no sign-ups, and the Data to sound page explains every step. If you have a lesson idea or a request, write in and say what you need.

Is this tied to any company or product?

No. Aux Cord is an independent project, and any names of scales or musical terms are just the standard vocabulary of music.
